Available Positions

1. Principal (1 Position)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a health-related field
  • Preferably Specialized Nursing, Health Extension, or a related discipline

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar leadership role in health education

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall administration of the CHW Training School
  • Ensure high-quality education and compliance with health standards
  • Lead curriculum development and strengthen partnerships with health organisations

2. Lecturer (1 Position)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing

Experience

  • At least 5 years teaching or lecturing experience

Responsibilities

  • Deliver lectures and practical training sessions
  • Assess student performance
  • Contribute to curriculum development

3. Senior Tutor (3 Positions)

Qualifications

  • Relevant qualifications in Health Science or Nursing

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years experience in tutoring or education within a health training institution

Responsibilities

  • Support lecturers in academic administration
  • Mentor students
  • Assist with development of training materials

4. Clinical Nurse Tutor (4 Positions)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Valid nursing licence

Experience

  • At least 5 years of clinical experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical instruction and supervision during practical training
  • Ensure adherence to professional patient care practices

5. Bursar / Administration Officer (1 Position)

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, or related field

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years experience in administrative or finance roles

Responsibilities

  • Manage financial records and budgets
  • Provide administrative support to the training school

6. Librarian (1 Position)

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Higher Education Certificate in Office Administration

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years experience in library management

Responsibilities

  • Manage library resources
  • Assist students and staff with research
  • Promote information literacy

7. Driver / Mechanic (1 Position)

Qualifications

  • Grade 10 or TVET qualification
  • Class 3 or Class 6 Driver’s Licence
  • Trade qualification in Mechanics

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years driving experience, preferably in health services or ambulance driving

Responsibilities

  • Operate emergency vehicles
  • Transport patients, medical personnel, and equipment
  • Assist with patient loading and unloading
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and mechanical condition

8. Cook (2 Positions)

Qualifications

  • Grade 8 or TVET qualification in Hospitality

Experience

  • Minimum 1–2 years experience in kitchen or mess operations

Responsibilities

  • Prepare meals for students and staff
  • Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards
  • Assist with daily dining facility operations

9. Handyman (1 Position)

Qualifications

  • Grade 8 or TVET with basic carpentry or trade skills

Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years experience

Responsibilities

  • Maintain school facilities
  • Carry out repairs and ensure a safe environment

10. Security Officers (2 Positions)

Qualifications

  • Must be able to read and write

Experience

  • Minimum 1–2 years experience as a security guard

Responsibilities

  • Patrol school grounds
  • Control visitor access
  • Enforce safety policies and protect school property

11. Janitor / Cleaner (1 Position)

Qualifications

  • Candidate must be able to read and write

Experience

  • Minimum 1–2 years experience in cleaning or sanitation work

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of classrooms and facilities
  • Manage waste disposal and sanitation
  • Assist with facility setup for school events
