About the Scholarship
City Pharmacy Limited (CPL), in partnership with the Pharmaceutical Society of Papua New Guinea (PSPNG), is offering the 2026 CPL Pharmacy Scholarships to support pharmacy students in Papua New Guinea. The scholarship targets Year 3 to Year 5 pharmacy students who are committed to academic excellence and the future of the pharmacy profession in PNG.
The CPL Pharmacy Scholarship program is designed to support the training and development of future pharmacists by providing financial assistance and professional exposure. Successful scholars will also benefit from mentorship opportunities and engagement with the pharmacy community through PSPNG initiatives.
Scholarship Benefits
- Full tuition fees paid by CPL
- Funds paid directly to SMHS
- PSPNG Scholars Club membership
- Mentorship and community engagement opportunities
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a PNG citizen
- Must be a member of the Pharmacy Student Association
- Year 3, 4, or 5 pharmacy student
- Minimum GPA of 2.8 or higher
- Strong commitment to contributing to the pharmacy profession

- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Most recent academic transcript (GPA verification)
- Cover letter (maximum 500 words)
- Two reference letters:
- Faculty member
- Mentor or community leader
