The Kokoda Track Foundation (KTF) is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the Archer Leadership Development Program, a flagship initiative designed to nurture the next generation of young leaders in Papua New Guinea.
The program is seeking innovative, driven and passionate final-year tertiary students in 2026 who are committed to leading positive social change in their communities and across Papua New Guinea. The Archer Leadership Development Program provides a unique opportunity for emerging leaders to develop the skills, confidence and networks needed to make a lasting impact.
Successful applicants will undertake a year-long experiential leadership journey, which includes:
- One-on-one mentoring with experienced leaders
- Support for university tuition fees and a professional development or education allowance
- Structured leadership workshops
- Funding to design and implement a community-based project
- Work experience opportunities
- A transformative two-week leadership exchange program in Australia
- And additional personal and professional development opportunities
The Archer Leadership Development Program is more than a scholarship—it is a pathway to leadership, service and meaningful contribution to Papua New Guinea’s future.
