Paradise Private Hospital is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Accountant to join its Finance & Administration team. This position is responsible for overseeing the hospital's financial accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and supporting effective financial management.

The successful applicant will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity through strong internal controls, budgeting, payroll oversight, financial reporting, auditing support, and strategic financial planning.



Key Responsibilities



  • Manage financial accounting and reporting functions.
  • Oversee accounts payable and banking operations.
  • Administer payroll and ensure statutory compliance.
  • Prepare budgets, financial analysis, and forecasts.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Maintain and improve financial systems and controls.
  • Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Applicants with a Diploma in Accounting and relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a financial accounting role.
  • Previous experience in the healthcare sector or a similar industry will be an advantage.
  • Skills & Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience using ERP systems and MYOB accounting software.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent analytical and account reconciliation abilities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership and teamwork capabilities.
