POSITION 1: DIOCESAN HEALTH MANAGER

About the Position
The Catholic Church Health Services (CCHS) of the Diocese of Kundiawa is seeking a dedicated, suitably qualified and experienced individual to take up the position of Diocesan Health Manager.
The successful candidate will provide leadership, oversight and coordination of CCHS operations in Simbu, ensuring the effective delivery of quality healthcare services across the diocese.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of health programmes in accordance with the CCHS Strategic Health Plan 2021–2030.
- Conduct supervisory visits to remote areas of Simbu Province to monitor and strengthen health service delivery.
- Work closely with external partners and community leaders to identify healthcare needs and develop appropriate service delivery strategies.
- Provide training, guidance and support to health workers and volunteers.
- Monitor and evaluate health facilities and programmes to ensure quality standards and compliance.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in Health Management or a related field.
- A minimum of three years' experience in a similar position.
- Proven experience in health management or a related leadership role.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
POSITION 2: FINANCE OFFICER

Position: Finance Officer
Location: Simbu Province
Eligibility: Candidates must be residents of Simbu Province.

About the Position
The Catholic Church Health Services (CCHS) Simbu is inviting applications from suitably qualified and dedicated candidates for the position of Finance Officer.
The successful applicant will support the financial management and operations of CCHS Simbu, ensuring effective budgeting, financial reporting and resource allocation to support healthcare services across the diocese.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting for CCHS health operations.
- Develop and prepare project proposals to secure funding from donors and other stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Diocesan Health Manager to ensure financial resources are appropriately allocated to meet the needs of health facilities across the diocese.
- Support effective financial management and accountability within the organisation.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- A minimum of two to three years' experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to meet deadlines, maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional integrity.
