The activities were aligned with World Malaria Day and World Immunisation Week, aiming to deliver integrated health services to the local community.
Health representatives, including Salome Minar and Laura Kinapu, encouraged public participation, urging individuals to receive accurate health information and available services.
Elizabeth Pundu, a health promotion officer, advised the public to undergo malaria testing, adding that free treatment would be provided to those who tested positive. She also highlighted the critical need to immunise children under five years.
Large numbers of residents attended the event, with many undergoing screening for communicable and non-communicable diseases. Three young girls between the ages of nine and 14 received the HPV vaccine during the event.
CPL supported the campaign by donating mosquito repellent products, while acting CEO Jane Holden commended their continued partnership and contributions to local health initiatives.
