The recent pandemic directive in the country is the banning of gatherings of 100 people or more. Meanwhile the Papua New Guinea Covid-19 National Pandemic Response Controller and Police Commissioner David Manning has exempted religious activities and other essential services to the recent directives.
This means that religious activities and other essential services will operate as normal even though the total population of people involving in these activities is more than 100.
This direction comes into effect today (January 25) and shall remain in force until February 28, 2022 or as revoked by the Controller.
